I read somewhere once that going somewhere new is a good for the writer’s mind, the unfamiliar surroundings stimulating creativity and fresh ways of seeing.
I just got back from an island retreat with my girlfriends and our collective kidlets yesterday, and was happy to discover a pile of plot tweaks nestled among my sand filled socks. Maybe it was just the two day break from my computer, but I like to think the trees and ocean and occasional seal visitor helped my manuscript along. So thank you cabin, you inspired me.
This looked so much like home to be I had to do a double-take and wonder if I had you for a guest over the weekend – LOL – nice pic.
Ha ha, well I’m jealous! You must have a fabulous place…
Thanks for the reference William!
