I feel it in my chest. A burning, bursting sort of feeling that makes me want to belt out the ‘all’ at the end of the ‘we could have it all…” line in Adele’s Rolling In the Deep song right alongside the British diva.  Thankfully for my husband and son, I usually resist.

However, and I don’t know if it’s the emotional pain in the words or the richness of her voice or the gorgeous melody or the combination of it all, but I like to think that the spark that song ignites inside me somehow fuels my own creative fire.

So thank you Adele for your Rolling In the Deep song, you inspire me.
