Rich, bright colors, organic lines and textiles which are amazingly soft and rugged at the same time. Looking through my closet this morning in preparing for my big night out at a silent fundraiser auction for Christianne’s lyceum of literature and art, I stumbled upon one of my favorite shirts–a black and maroon nylon top by Sans Soucie and was reminded that magic is not confined to the world of Harry Potter.
This Vancouver-based clothing company, founded by Katherine Soucie, somehow manages to transform old materials such as pantyhose, dryer sheets, and old wool into some of the most fantastical creations I have seen–I’m just glad I’ve been lucky enough to wear one of them.
So thank you Sans Soucie, you inspire me.
